Verse 1
On the bright blue island sea where the dolphins play,
There was one little dolphin who was different every day.
While the others leapt high, spinning free in the air,
He could only swim in circles, round and round in despair.
They teased him kindly, though he felt left out,
He longed for a moment to show what he was about.
“Why can’t I leap, why can’t I soar?
Is there no greater purpose I was swimming for?”
Chorus
But every gift has a time to shine,
Even a circle can save the line.
When the storm clouds rise and the seas confine,
Every weakness can turn divine.
Verse 2
One dark day the horizon turned black,
A hurricane came and there was no turning back.
The dolphins were trapped, waves crashing high,
Currents pulled strong while the lightning lit the sky.
No one could leap, no one could play,
The swirling tide threatened to take them away.
But the dolphin who swam in circles raised his voice,
“This is my moment, you don’t have a choice!”
Chorus
For every gift has a time to shine,
Even a circle can save the line.
When the storm clouds rise and the seas confine,
Every weakness can turn divine.
Bridge
He swam round and round with all of his might,
Fighting the current through the endless night.
Circle after circle, he carved a space,
A pocket of calm, a safe embrace.
Behind him the dolphins held on, side by side,
Sheltered together in the eye of his tide.
And when the storm passed and the morning came,
They cheered the one who once felt shame.
Final Verse
Now when the dolphins leap under the sun,
They tell of the circle that saved everyone.
And the little one smiles, no longer apart,
For his circle of strength was a circle of heart.
Final Chorus (anthemic, uplifting)
Every gift has a time to shine,
Even a circle can save the line.
When the storm clouds rise and the seas confine,
Every weakness can turn divine.
Outro (chant)
“Round and round, he saved the day,
The dolphin who swam in a different way.
What once was strange, became so true,
The circle of love carried them through.”
